Ricochets don't waste time, kicking off the new year by releasing another powerful song from their upcoming album - which will be their first in seventeen years.
Galaxies is a song about losing someone. That everything ends. About what you do when everything is hopeless, and about being there for each other despite all," says vocalist and songwriter Trond Andreassen.
Already on February 3rd, the rock legends in Ricochets will release a brand new and long-awaited album entitled Closer to the Light, which will be their first album in seventeen years. On the release day, the band's start their already almost sold-out tour in Trondheim.
Ricochets return to festival stages in 2019 shook the audiences at festivals such as Øya, Bukta, Pstereo, Månefestivalen and Tons of Rock. Their concerts have received praise in the press and massive love from the audience - who had become both older and younger since the last time. The reunion also revived the creative forces in the band, which ended up recording their fourth album.
The brand new album, like old hits- will be taken out on the road immediately after the album release. We can only look forward to rediscovering this rock band in their right element on the following Norwegian concert stages:
