Norwegian high-octane metallers Fight The Fight drop their new single “Pacemaker” today! This is the second single off their sophomore album “Deliverance”, set to be released on September 18th via Metal Blade Records (NA) and Indie Recordings (ww ex.NA).

Listen to the single or watch the music video filmed during the quarantine and released earlier this month.

With uplifting drum beats and bouncy grooves, “Pacemaker” immediately grabs your attention. The song’s inner drive is endlessly fun, while the catchy chorus ensures that you’ll never forget the lyrics of this rager. Fight The Fight’s incredible musicality shines through during the instrumental breaks, compounded  by an overwhelming guitar solo, it’s all pulled together  by the song’s chorus, and  stomping breakdown. With great guitar melodies, a richharmonic background, and Lars Vegas’ unique-sounding voice, this one will immediately be added to your favorite-song-playlist.

With their 2017 debut album, Fight The Fight already showed that they wanted to push their musical boundaries byaiming for a diverse, and experimental sound. Within their songwriting, there’s always an emphasis on power, energy and hard-hitting grooves. After this strong debut album and big shows, Fight The Fight are closer to their goal of world domination than ever before.

Within the last few years, the band has had the chance to tour with and support bands like Avenged Sevenfold, Ministry, Kvelertak, Hatebreed, Devin Townsend Project, and August Burns Red, but also rocked festivals like Reeperbahn Festival, Summer Breeze and Wacken Open Air. This once more showcases the diversity of their music and their amazing ability to adjust to playing with a variety of other bands, due to their universal, but unique sound. With over  3 million streams of their debut album and music videos with 750k+ plays, the band has already won over  fans around the world. In 2020 the band will finally follow up their well-received and critically acclaimed self-titled debut album. Their highly anticipated sophomore album “Deliverance” pushes the band’s boundaries (if they ever existed) even further into bold new territories.

In Christianity, deliverance ministry refers to the activity of cleansing a person of demons and evil spirits in order to address problems manifesting in their lives as a result of the presence of said entities and the root causes of their authority to oppress the person.

The band says about the album: “You can say that in many ways writing this album has been a path to set free our individual alter egos. They all come out in the lyrics throughout the album. It is not about cleansing but realizing. Always be true to yourself and everyone around you. Sometimes you have to let that beast out and here it is, a beast of an album!”
