Once again Norwegian punks LÜT take their fuzzy guitars into action - listen to the single here: lut.ffm.to/lutetro!indie
“LÜTetro” is a driving alternative rock song, which features some post-punk vibes as well. Especially within the song’s chorus, LÜT get very catchy again. The omnipresent energy on “LÜTetro” is really captivating, and delivers raw power through the straight forward drum beat. The band combines this force with their incredibly tuneful and appealing pop-structures. The song has little solo-details, which add a great psychey spice to “LÜTetro”, which is simply another amazing single!
Ørjan (guitars) on the single: "It's feels so great that LÜTetro is finally released! This is one of our personal favourites on the coming album. We hope people will play this so loud the neighbours can hear, and that people will join the celebration tonight. We have planned a great digital evening". The release party for the single will take place on release day (April 8) on Facebook: GO TO THE EVENT.
LÜT is a punk-rock-blizzard of energy, and "more Kvelertak than Kvelertak" according to a Eurosonic-panel (2020). With the first album they made quite a name for themselves in Norway, and the next album will take on the world! They have already toured Norway extensively and played at big festivals like Summer Breeze, Øya, Reeperbahn and Tons Of Rock. LÜT was nominated for “New band of the year” in both the Norwegian Grammys Spellemann and the Norwegian Radio award show P3 Gull, and Lars Ulrich has praised them on his podcast.
"Is it Norwegian metal’n’roll or West Coast indie punk? It’s both, baby! [...] What a crazy summer that was, in song form." - Kerrang!
