FIXATION’S NEW SINGLE TALKS ABOUT MENTAL HEALTH AND HOW TO “SURVIVE” IN TODAY’S SOCIETY

Young, fresh, and incredibly dynamic, Norwegian hard rockers Fixation release their new single “Survive” - listen to it here https://orcd.co/survive! “Survive” is the second single off their upcoming EP “Global Suicide”, to be released on August 7!

Ambient synthesizers open up for “Survive”, which turns out as a very vocal-driven single. The song is an immediately captivating one, which delivers a catchy, yet atmospheric aural experience. Musically, Fixation are an incredibly dynamic rock group, which delivers a fresh, and modern sound in between the likes of (Sempiternal-era) Bring Me The Horizon, Normandie and Thirty Seconds To Mars. It’s especially Jonas Hansen’s vocals, which do so well within the powerful rock instrumentals, and ambient synths of Fixation that make “Survive” such a massive, and atmospheric single.

Focussing on mental health and its treatment in today’s society, “Survive” has a deep message within its lyrics. Especially the captivating chorus points on how mental health issues are perceived as “not real, and not taken seriously”, as Fixation explains.

“The song is meant to encourage people to embrace who they are, and show the world that, despite their scars, they are worth just as much as anyone else.”
